I don’t know about you but I have a boat load of shoes that I’ve worn only once or twice and that’s it. They’re taking up room in my way-too-small closet.
I recently attended the Comfort One Shoes annual meeting in Arlington, VA where we were introduced to Wayne Elsey. He’s the founder and CEO of Souls4Soles, an organization that gives away free shoes to needy people. I was truly inspired after watching the “Why” video“. How many of us wait in line for various things we want? Why?… We even camp out over night, waiting in line. Why?… There are people all over the world willing to wait in line for hours, even days, if necessary, but not for a video game, or a concert ticket – but for a pair of shoes!
Comfort One Shoes has pledged to donate 100,000 pairs of shoes and $100,000 to Soles4Souls! All Comfort One Shoes locations will gratefully accept your donations of gently worn shoes. (See next page for Comfort One Shoes locations.)
So, clean out that closet, dump that coin jar, and come see the difference you can make in the life of someone without shoes!
